Recently a friend of mine on Facebook posted this video and it was an eye opener.  I knew it was happening on Facebook but didn’t realize it was happening on Google too!    I felt it was very important for everyone to view, so the video is my post.

Sweepstakes/Contest in Facebook Guidelines

Awesome!  This is a great way to build your list because everyone likes to win something.   I ran a sweepstakes in Facebook a couple months ago and added quite a few names to my campaign list.

BUT…it isn’t as simple as throwing together a page for people to enter your contest in Facebook.  There are rules, as there normally are with anything you do within Facebook.  If these aren’t followed, then your ad won’t be approved and your page may get suspended.

Advertising on Facebook – Part One

I originally wrote this article for my Betternetworker page but realized I absolutely needed to share it with everyone who follows my blog.  This is only the first post in a series regarding advertising on Facebook.

Facebook Advertising Is Easy

Before I placed my first ad in Facebook, I have to admit I was a little intimidated.  With all the products and advertisements out there regarding Facebook advertising I found myself a bit overwhelmed.  I finally had to decide to just DO IT.  And I did.  It was really amazing how easy it was.  Much easier than so many let on.

I ran my first Facebook ad for 3 1/2 days for my Beading Fan Page.  I started with 109 fans and by the end of the 3 1/2 days I had 700 fans.  Wow!  I just didn’t expect that.
